Even though I’m supposedly a Godless Liberal, I must take a moment to send my prayers to Senator Edward Kennedy. Its a sad day when such a great intellect (and long time warrior for progressive causes) is stricken with as terrible disease as malignant brain cancer. My heart is with the family and while the prognosis is decidedly bad, I hope that the senior Senator has many more great years ahead – at least long enough to see a President Obama!
